It's time for some feedback from the roots. With the new Rain Bird Soil Moisture Sensor SMRT-Y Kit, irrigation control is directly linked to the absolute moisture needs of vegetation.

When the sensor detects dry conditions, the next scheduled watering cycle is allowed. If the soil moisture level of the area exceeds the limit, the watering cycle is stopped. There are only two main components: the sensor on the ground and the user interface on the controller.
